We journey north with comfort stops along the way, arriving in the charming resort of Scarborough. On arrival, settle into the Crown Spa Hotel, your home for the next four nights. Enjoy a warm welcome, dinner, and time to relax.
All aboard! Today we enjoy one of England’s most scenic rail journeys as we travel from Goathland (famous as “Aidensfield” in Heartbeat) to the atmospheric seaside town of Whitby. Explore the harbour, stroll the cobbled streets, or enjoy fish and chips with a sea view before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Today is yours to enjoy Scarborough at your own pace. Visit the historic castle, explore the promenade, browse local shops, or simply relax with a sea breeze and a cuppa. This classic seaside town offers something for everyone.
Today we head to the historic city of York, where you’ll have plenty of time to explore its iconic sights — from the majestic York Minster to the quaint Shambles, museums, tearooms and riverside walks. A real highlight of Yorkshire!
After breakfast, we begin our journey home with comfort stops.
