The Gems Of Germany – Where Taste Meets Tradition

We depart Crymych and make our way to Dover, crossing the channel before driving to our overnight hotel.

This morning we travel towards the wonderful Rhine valley arriving at our hotel in Boppard mid afternoon.

Today is your free day to enjoy this wonderful town. Do as much or as little as you want.

After breakfast we travel towards our main hotel on this tour, the family owned Hotel Gastof Zum.

Cruise through Franconian vineyards to magical Würzburg! Explore the ornate Käppele chapel, towering Marienberg Fortress, and grand St. Kilian’s Cathedral. Stroll the storybook streets of Tauberbischofsheim before stepping into Weikersheim’s stunning baroque castle and gardens. End the day with dinner and lively entertainment back at the hotel.

Step back in time in Rothenburg ob der Tauber with a guided walk through medieval streets and the Gothic St. Jakob’s Church. Then, sip and savour Franconian flavours in Ippesheim with a vineyard walk, coffee and cake, and a traditional winery visit with wine tasting and regional snacks. 

Discover the charm of Schlüsselfeld, one of Germany’s tiniest towns, on a guided tour. This afternoon, dive into Franconian beer culture at a family brewery—learn, taste, and pick your favourite brew before dinner and evening entertainment.

Spend a full day in vibrant Nuremberg! Enjoy a guided walking tour of the old town, taking in St. Lawrence Church, the Gothic Church of Our Lady, and the mighty Imperial Castle. Afterwards, savour free time for lunch and exploring at your own pace.

Sadly its time to depart this wonderful region of Germany and head back to northern France for our overnight stay.
