Today we set off by coach to explore the unspoilt beauty of the Llŷn Peninsula. With its sweeping views, quiet beaches, and traditional Welsh villages, this tranquil corner of Wales offers a real sense of escape. Along the way, we’ll stop at charming spots where you can stretch your legs and take in the scenery.

Enjoy a more relaxed pace today as we stay local in Llanberis. The highlight is a journey on the iconic Snowdon Mountain Railway, which winds its way to the summit of Wales’s highest peak (weather permitting), offering stunning panoramic views. Afterwards, take time to explore Llanberis at your leisure — perhaps visit the Slate Museum or simply enjoy the lakeside setting.

This morning we visit the historic town of Caernarfon, home to the imposing Caernarfon Castle and a pretty harbour. In the afternoon, we head to the Aber Falls Distillery, where we’ll enjoy a guided tour and the chance to sample some of their award-winning Welsh spirits.

After breakfast, we begin our journey home — but not before a visit to Portmeirion, the unique Italianate village tucked away on the Welsh coast. Spend a few hours exploring its colourful buildings, gardens and seaside views before we continue home with memories of a magical Welsh escape.
