Travel to your hotel and settle in for a relaxing start to your Kent countryside escape.
Spend a relaxed morning exploring our charming host town of Folkestone. Stroll along the vibrant Harbour Arm—an up-and-coming seafront destination—where you can soak up stunning coastal views and enjoy its unique blend of culture, cafés, and coastal charm. Then, enjoy a guided walk and talk at the striking coastal nature reserve of Samphire Hoe. Learn about this unique landscape and its wildlife while enjoying fresh sea air and stunning views.
Step back in time with a scenic return journey on the Kent & East Sussex Railway, travelling from Tenterden to Bodiam. In the afternoon, visit the renowned Chapel Down Winery for a tour and tasting of their award-winning wines.
Enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful gardens at Hole Park, followed by a traditional Ploughman’s lunch. In the afternoon, visit Hukins Hops for a fascinating tour and tasting, exploring one of Kent’s most iconic crops.
