8th December - 12th December 2025
We depart and head north with comfort stops on the way. Arrive to a warm Scottish welcome.
After a hearty breakfast we head to Edinburgh to visit one of the top attractions in the UK, The Royal Yacht Brittania. With your audio guides, learn and enjoy the ships history. This afternoon we travel the short distance into Edinburgh City Centre. Enjoy its spectacular castle or watch the world go by from a café. The choice is yours.
This morning, we visit Traquair House for a guided tour. Scotland’s oldest inhabited house has been lived in for over 900 years and they say that during that time, it has been visited by 27 Scottish kings and queens. This afternoon we
visit the wonderful town of Peebles.
Today we travel the short distance to The Great Tapestry of Scotland. This newly opened centre is home to Europe’s largest tapestry. A thousand stitchers created this masterpiece. This is your opportunity to hear the stories of the making of this intensely moving narrative of Scotland’s history. This afternoon we take you on a tour of the local area.
We depart Scotland and travel back home to Wales.
