Depart from Wales and travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to France. We then head to Ypres, Belgium, where we check in to our centrally located hotel—perfect for exploring this historic town.
A moving, guided tour takes us to key WWI sites including Hedd Wyn’s grave, Langemark, and the powerful Tyne Cot Cemetery. A day of deep reflection and remembrance.
Explore Ypres at your own pace—visit the In Flanders Fields Museum, enjoy local food, and attend the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate.
Today we cross into France for a delightful day in the vibrant city of Lille. Known for its grand Flemish and French architecture, cobbled old town, and bustling squares, Lille offers the perfect blend of culture and charm.
We begin our journey back to Wales, returning with unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to the past.
