We travel in comfort with planned stops along the way before arriving at the Holiday Inn Bolton Centre, our base for the next four nights.
Today begins with a unique experience — the Concorde Classic Tour at Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park. Step aboard the iconic supersonic jet and learn all about its incredible story. Afterwards, we head to the beautiful Dunham Massey Hall and Gardens, a National Trust gem with elegant rooms, a historic deer park and stunning grounds to enjoy at your own pace.
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Bolton — perhaps take a stroll, explore the shops or grab a coffee. This afternoon, we make our way to the renowned Olympus Fish & Chip Restaurant for a nostalgic treat: a delicious lunch followed by a dance and singalong afternoon filled with music, laughter and good old-fashioned entertainment.
We start the day with a visit to the charming West Lancashire Light Railway, where you can enjoy a short steam-hauled ride and soak up the vintage atmosphere.
Later, we take to the water for a leisurely 2-hour canal cruise, complete with a delicious afternoon tea served onboard. Sit back, relax and watch the Lancashire scenery glide by.
After a hearty breakfast, we begin our journey home, full of fun memories from a unique and thoroughly British holiday.
