Fun, laughter and plenty of singing is what you should expect for this weekend away in the haven of natural beauty that is Hayling Island. This small island is the perfect base for our tribute weekend, as it’s right by the sea, but still close to the countryside and close to many top attractions. The famous Tom Jones tribute will delight us with his world-famous hits; ‘It’s Not Unusual’, ‘Delilah’ and ‘Green Green Grass of Home’ in the stunning Warner Lakeside Village, Hampshire.
The Warner Lakeside Village, on Hayling Island, Hampshire pride themselves on their warm, friendly atmosphere. The resort boasts a beautiful courtyard at its centre, with a bar and charming café. With many activities on site, there is plenty to do, from archery, indoor bowls, pitch and putt and an indoor swimming pool; a great place to have a relaxing few days away with friends and family.
Day One – We leave in the morning and head for our hotel on Hayling Island, with comfort stops on route.
Day Two – Today, we head to the vibrant, waterfront city of Portsmouth where you will have time at your leisure. With their proud naval and maritime heritage, museums and galleries, unique shopping destinations and stunning waterfront, there is something for everyone here. You may decide to wander around the Historic Dockyard and explore the history of the HMS Warrior, or you may decide to wander around the cathedrals.
After a day exploring, we head back to the hotel, ready for our evening meal, and our all-important night of entertainment from our Tom Jones Tribute act.
Day Three – This morning is at your leisure. You may want to wander into the village or spend the morning doing various activities from around the resort. This afternoon, we will head to the diverse city of Chichester.
Day Four – Sadly, it’s time to leave. After breakfast, we will make our way back to the “green, green grass of home”, with comfort stops on route.
