This morning we begin our journey towards Bridgwater with a stop at Burnham on Sea, before our arrival at the hotel.
This morning we head to the beautiful town of Tiverton. This charming town has many unique attractions including castles, historic stately homes, independent shops and what we have
come here for, a ride on the only remaining horse drawn barges in the UK. After a cruise down the Tiverton Canal, it will be time to head to the national treasure that is Dunster, for some time at leisure. With such a fascinating history, Dunster is dominated by the wonderfully preserved castle. Spend time exploring all the secrets of one of England’s largest and most intact medieval village. It’s then time to head back to the hotel in plenty of time to enjoy some fantastic food at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill.
After a leisurely breakfast at the Mercure, we begin our journey home, with comfort stops along the way.
