Hotel Milagros Golf Spa, Mogro is a 4* hotel, located on the beachfront of Usil Beach in the coastal town of Mogro. They boast a quality hotel with excellent service in a small paradise in Northern Spain. The hotel has a bar-café with large terraces and views of the beach, mini-golf course, covered heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, massage room and a swan neck fountain. There is so much choice here of things to do, you will be able to do as little, or as much as you like.

Day One – This morning we leave and head for our overnight ferry heading for Santander, with comfort stops on route. You will receive an inside cabin on board.

Day Two – This afternoon, we arrive in Cantabria’s capital city, Santander. It is then on to our hotel in Mogro, in time for our evening meal.

Day three – After a leisurely breakfast, we will head to the picturesque coastal town of Comillas. With cobbled streets, open squares and historic buildings, this beautiful town will be your first exciting glimpse of our Autumn Sunshine holiday, making you feel totally relaxed. One of the main attractions here, and a must see, is the incredible El Capricho building, designed by Anton Gaudi. It does have other architectural masterpieces to enjoy such as the Sobrellano Palace Chapel and the Pantheon. You may decide to stroll around these fascinating sites or relax on the famously clean beach here. This afternoon, we will head to the beautiful village of Santillana del Mar where you will have time at your leisure to explore its cobbled streets and admire the honey coloured churches.

Day Four – This morning, we will head to one of the most picturesque sights on the Cantabrian coast. With its stunning beaches, the old village and historic fishing port and the exceptional backdrop of the snow-capped mountains of the Picos de Europa, the old fisherman’s refuge of San Vicente de la Barquera is the perfect first destination for our day out. It is then on to Picos de Europa National Park’s Sotama Visitor Centre, close to the village of Potes. We will spend some time here before heading back to the hotel in plenty of time for our evening meal.

Day Five – Today will be a day at your leisure to enjoy what the resort town has to offer. You may want to relax at the hotel and make the most of the fantastic facilities available. Or, if you’d prefer, you may decide to catch one of many services buses into one of the nearby villages or towns.

Day Six – After breakfast at the hotel, we will head for a day out in the Cantabrian capital, Santander. This city of atmospheric plazas, seaside promenades, sensational beaches and an unbeatable setting along the northern side of the Bahia de Santander this cultural city will not disappoint. The Palacio de la Magdalena, once the royal summer residence, lies at the mouth of the Bay of Santander on the rocky La Magdalena Peninsula whilst the city centre is home to Santander Cathedral, with its octagonal cupola and Gothic cloister.

Day Seven – Sadly, it’s time to leave our hotel and make our way home. We will enjoy a leisurely morning at the resort, before heading back to Santander for our overnight ferry back to the United Kingdom.

Day Eight – This morning, we will continue the final part of the journey towards home, with comfort stops on route.
