Itinerary

DAY ONE

After a morning departure, we travel north to our overnight hotel the Golden Jubilee Conference in Glasgow.

DAY TWO

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Tarbet on the west shores of Loch Lomond, for a spectacular 90-minute cruise in the heart of Rob Roy Country. We will then continue our
journey north through the Glencoe mountains to our destination, the Alexandra Hotel in Fort William. We will arrive in plenty of time for a wonder around, what is often described as the Outdoor Capital of the UK.

DAY THREE

Today we will travel through the Isle of Skye with its breath-taking scenery, to board the ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. Here we will be staying at The Caladh Inn, conveniently situated a short walk from the town center.

DAY FOUR

We are in for a treat, we will enjoy a scenic tour of the island by driving over rugged hills, and through coastal bays and quaint villages. On route we will make a visit to the Callanish
Standing Stones, and Gearrannan Blackhouse Village.

DAY FIVE

We cannot leave this wonderful island without a visit to The Lewis Loom Centre in Stornoway where we will be given a guided tour on the making of the famous Harris Tweed. We
can then enjoy the rest of our day in Stornoway known as being a bustling town, with artisan shops and eateries.

DAY SIX

Today’s the day we say goodbye to this fantastic island and board our ferry back to Ullapool. We will continue our journey with comfort stops in Inverness, known as Scotland’s Highland Capital and Pitlochry, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant places to visit. Our overnight hotel tonight will be the Golden Lion in Stirling.

DAY SEVEN

With an early start we continue the last part of our journey with comfort stops en route.
